Named after our daughter "Lara", Delara Studio is a second generation family business established in 1988. It all started as personal friendships with some marble quarry owners in Greece, Italy, Spain and Turkey.
From friendships the relationship elaborated to marble trading in the Eastern Mediterranian coast and the business started growing with the global economic up rise until it succeeded to become a global pioneer in marble trading industry in the early 90's until this day now.
In 2020, the second generation owner decided to open a handcrafted marble creations atelier within Delara that specializes in the art of mosaic creations, the art of marble hand-carving, and the art of creating an aesthetic and decorative function out of unique marble blocks that were extracted from Italian, Greek, Spanish, and Turkish quarries.

More than 75 specialized craftsmen and craftswomen put their efforts and experience daily to come up with unique, exotic and timeless marble pieces created solely by hand without using any type of waterjet or CNC machines.

As many of the most important marble quarries ore closing their doors, day after day because of marble scarcity in nature and the extremely high demand for marble considered a commodity, Delara's main goal is to reinvent the use of marble in our daily life by changing the way we perceive marble as a very common commodity instead of considering it as a rare natural unique material that some day will vanish.
